2010 was a good year! I turned 7 beginning of the year. I grew taller and lost many more baby teeth, becoming a big girl!

In school, I finished first grade and joined Mrs. Likens second grade. Mrs.L ikens was chechy's second grade teacher too. I continued to do well in school. My entry got picked in the Literature category for Reflections this year. Did many Bollywood dance performances. Even got picked to play in the school variety show.

We spent the summer in India, mostly in Kerala, with a short trip to Bangalore. It was great to spend time with my cousins, grand parents, uncles, and aunts. Ended the year with a trip to Oahu, where I went snorkeling for the first time. Earlier in the year, went on a fun skiing trip with friends to Bear Valley and later, a fun whitewater rafting trip. Spent couple summer nights in Yosemite. Deepa chechy visited us during Thanksgiving. Went on my very first sleepover by myself. There were the other usual fun outings like parties, attending basketball games, walks in the park, museum visits, and so on. Even went for a real musical in San Francisco.

I continued my piano lessons. Continued with art and singing classes too. In swimming, mastered up to Breast stroke. Did ice skating in the beginning of the year. Even took a horse riding class.When in Trivandrum, Appachan took us for a week of magic classes. Learned quite a few tricks!

I started to really enjoy reading this year. Once I started the Harry Potter books, it was hard to stop! I enjoyed taking pictures and getting a camera of my own remains my biggest wish. I believe it will be granted on my next birthday! I really liked when we hosted parties at home. My task was mainly making banners and decorations! As usual, I enjoyed doing everything with chechy!
