2013 went by quite fast. It was a fun year. An year of fun with extended family, many trips, and new experiences.

I entered fifth grade, the top grade in Elementary School in 2013. I got the opportunity to join Safety Patrol and got elected as the class representative for School Leadership.
The last semester of fourth grade was a lot of fun. We went on a trip to our capital, Sacramento. Read about it here. There were parties, more trips, field days and more that made school fun.
As a fifth grader I went to Outdoor Ed camp at Camp Arroyo. My first trip all by myself. I had a great time.

We went on quite a few trips in 2013. Started by flying to Orlando on New Year's day. Here is chechy's report on that trip. During the Memorial Day break we drove down the coast to San Luis Obispo. We visited the Mission on which I did my fourth grade report. Soon after school closed we went for a holiday in Greece and Turkey. Read all about that here. For Thanksgiving we spent a week at Palm Springs. We went to Tahoe twice in 2013.

This year we had many visitors too. Appachan and Ammachy spent the summer with us. I really enjoyed showing them around and spending time with them. For Christmas both Deepa chechy and Anu chechy came and spent some time with us.

I stopped piano classes and started taking Clarinet classes. I started taking Singing lessons too. I continued with swimming and art classes. For Destination Imagination, my team went up to the State levels. I went to San Diego for the competition. In fifth grade I started going for Science Alliance meetings too. My mentor goes to Monte Vista High School. I joined the San Ramon Community basketball league. I also started attending Math Edge classes. I learned new crafts like knitting and rainbow loom.
