In 2006 I turned 7! I finished first grade and entered second grade. I enjoyed school, playdates and sleepovers with my friends, parties and many outings. Spent most of the summer in India. Visited Japan on the way to India. Ended the year with a fabulous cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Wonder! My hair grew longer and I tried different hair styles. My new teeth all came in and fell into a neat row. Jeans and Tshirt became my favorite clothing. And a Denim jacket too, if the weather was right for it! I finished freestyle and back strokes and started butterfly and breast strokes in swimming. I continued my piano lessons. Ms.Lillian moved to Sacramento, so started classes with a new teacher Ms. Sylvia in fall.Started going for Indian dance class with Simran and other school friends. Learnt some Bharathanatyam and some Bollywood dance. Also, learnt some Hindu mythology in the process. Started going to an art class by Archana aunty who lives nearby. I really liked those classes where we just did drawing and painting. I learnt roller skating. Went for chess class too. All in all it was a good and busy year. Here are the pictures to prove it......
